Autumn Winter 2025 Show
À LA MAISON - AUTUMN WINTER 2025 SHOW
The Autumn Winter 2025 collection, a début by Artistic Director Peter Copping, represents a homecoming, a rediscovery of Lanvin’s meaning, the esprit of founder and Maison. It projects the essence of her wardrobe today while imagining it on a cast of modern characters.
SILHOUETTES
The silhouette is sharp and defined, elongated, inspiration drawn from archives illustrations. Jeanne Lanvin’s own description of idealized elegance – le chic ultime – becomes a house mantra, a stance and approach.
DETAILS
Fluid draperies and embroideries become t-shirts and sweaters, while caban and trench-coats, archetypical Parisian garments, are afforded detail in satin. The Lanvin man embraces structured silhouettes with a romantic, sometimes eccentric twist while the Lanvin woman expresses a new sensuality with draped open backs.
GUESTS
Some of the guests who attended the show: Britt Lower, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Laufey, Anna Wintour, Claire Thomson-Jonville, Xiayan Guo, Lyas and Tina Leung.
Show venue
The intimate runway design is M/M Paris's reinterpretation of Jeanne Lanvin's iconic bathroom tiles designed by Armand Albert Rateau, anchoring the space in the brands historical legacy. During the show, a performance on the Cristal Baschet instrument by Marc Chouarain added an ethereal auditory layer to the conceptual sound design/show soundtrack by Frédéric Sanchez.
